Our History & Community

While the records of our first decade were misplaced, the group’s legacy is defined by its early members, including Mary Briggs, Ken Robb, Beth Elliott, Dick Anderson, and many others who helped establish our annual exhibition tradition.

About the Mildura Art Group

Established in 1966, the Mildura Art Group has been a cornerstone of the regional creative community for over 60 years. Based in the historic Riverfront Studio—originally an SEC office and workshop provided by the Mildura City Council—our group offers a dedicated space for artists to meet, workshop, and paint in a supportive environment.

Our mission is to promote a love for the visual arts while fostering a culture of shared knowledge and encouragement among our members.

Exhibitions & Achievements

The Mildura Art Group provides vital opportunities for members to exhibit and sell their work. Beyond our own "Seasonal Exhibitions" and events like Mildura Show, our members are highly active in the regional circuit.

Our artists regularly support and showcase their work at local events, including:

 * Red Cliffs Jacaranda Festival

We are proud to share that our members frequently win awards at these exhibitions, reflecting the high standard of talent within our club.
