Members of the Mildura Art Group are excited to present the AUTUMN24 Exhibition at the Riverfront Art Gallery located at 3/122 Hugh King Drive, Mildura. (next to the Powerhouse, Shippy's Cafe and Jaycee Park).
The exhibition features many new original works for purchase from our members. Works sold can be taken, ready to hang or give as a gift.

Award winning artist, Craig Penny 2 day workshop at the Riverfront Art Gallery
Born in Mildura, Craig has shown an interest in art and drawing from a very young age and has created a successful career as a professional artist.
In 1970, the family moved to the Western District of Victoria and Craig's love of art and artistic interests extended into ceramics
and sculpture.
Studying art at Ballarat University, painting and graphic design allowing him to pursued a successful career as an illustrator.
Craig has skills in a range of mediums. He taught both traditional drawing, illustration and digital drawing at both Victoria University and Swinburne University.
Craig never lost his love of using traditional methods and specializes in watercolour, acrylic painting and illustration.

Acrylic Workshop held at The Riverfront Galley
Catherine is an established artist known for her colour and broad and innovative strokes, often using music or her writing to create the initial concepts and palette.
Her work is distinctive, bold, vibrant and full of energy. She works in various media but pushes the boundaries in diverse exploratory and original techniques. She uses the medium to create unusual effects using glazes and applying the paint with various brushes, rollers, palette knives and more.
“Working on my pieces is an evolution. When I work, the start of a piece becomes the finish. The most important part of working on a painting or drawing is the journey, not thinking too much, keeping in flow and just allowing the concept to develop.”

NEW EQUIPMENT
The Mildura Riverfront Art Gallery gratefully acknowledge the Community Grant received from the Mildura Rural City Council to purchase 10 Floor easels and 10 table easels.
